The #MyEMGA Educators Award Scholarship (EAS) is an educator-led scholarship initiative designed to recognize potential beyond grades and to unlock education access for students who deserve a chance—including those with strong capability, high character, leadership promise, or financial need.
Education should never be limited by a family’s financial position, nor defined solely by a student’s exam slip.
Providing schools with direct access to Malaysian scholarships and study pathways.
Empower principals and teachers to recommend deserving students confidently
Strengthen school-to-university linkages through an ethical and transparent nomination system.
Ensure seamless access to accurate information and university channels through EMGA and Y2M platforms.
Educators Award Scholarship is an educator-nomination programme. Nominations are accepted from:
Important: Nominations must be verified by the school leadership to ensure fairness and credibility.
EAS 2026 is open to students who meet the school’s nomination criteria and are:
Students with strong results and/or exceptional promise, leadership, competition achievements, discipline, or consistent performance.
Students who may not be top scorers, but demonstrate high commitment and potential—while facing genuine financial constraints or difficult personal circumstances.
Every year, schools identify students who are capable—but held back by circumstances. Some have strong results but limited resources. Others may not be top scorers, yet demonstrate exceptional determination, leadership, maturity, talent, or resilience.
Many deserving students are overlooked when scholarships focus only on academic rankings.
Principals and teachers see more than numbers—they see consistency, discipline, attitude, and transformation.
Students often miss opportunities due to uncertainty, documentation challenges, affordability concerns, or lack of trusted guidance.
Educators Award Scholarship (EAS) is therefore designed as a complete pathway from nomination → guidance → evaluation → placement support, and where applicable, financial aid options.
EAS 2026 is designed to work hand-in-hand with Yes2Malaysia (Y2M)—the platform where students and parents meet multiple Malaysian universities in one place.
• Face-to-face meetings with university representatives (not agents)
• On-the-spot programme guidance and scholarship discussions
• Briefings on intake timelines, accommodation, and student life
• Parent confidence-building (a key barrier in overseas education decisions)
We’ve mapped out a simple, step-by-step process to guide teachers and students through scholarship applications, university enrollment, and pre-arrival preparation.
Schools participating in the School Development Programme may submit their nominated students directly through EMGA scholarship application portal. EMGA will review their eligibility and process their applications with partner universities.
For every successful student enrolment, EMGA will contribute back to the school as part of our partnership support.
